It's boat building time

This is just a test

It's only a test. We've worked hard since the beginning of November. Each day dreaming of what the first paddle will be like. Will she go straight? Will she leak? Was she worth all the hours we worked on her? And we just couldn't wait anymore. We dabated taking her down to the river but in the end decided to wait until we had a finished boat to paddle. So we threw her down in the living room. We didn't go anywhere and we still don't know if she paddles straight but we do know that its been worth the time and effort we've put into it.

For everything there is a season,

And a time for every matter under heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die;

A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;

A time to kill, and a time to heal;

A time to break down, and a time to build up;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh;

A time to mourn, and a time to dance;

A time to build a boat, and a time to paddle a boat. Today the fourth coat of varnish has been applied. Only four more coats to go--that means only four more days. Then the paddling days begin--HURRAY!!!
