Visitors and Verdicts

Spring left and winter returned. So did my little bro from down south. Even though the flakes are falling Kevin was up all week on a wonderful spring break visit. We did manage to get the boats out on day one of the visit while the weather was still in the high forties. The rain was falling but there is something peaceful about kayaking in the rain. We had the lake to ourselves save the beaver and mallards that we spent a bit of time with. Other highlights were the huge bonfire that we had which provided warmth on a clear crisp night as well as dinner. We had "silver turtles" for dinner as Kevin calls them or "hobo dinners" as Rebecca calls them or just plain foil dinners. Our dinners were far from foiled however. We even complemented them with corn on the cob. Yummy!

Kevin handled Pelagic like a dream. Thanks for coming out Bro. Good times! Let's do it again soon. Now on to other issues...The hat...What's the verdict?
