A happy group of victorious middle schoolers who climbed the watch tower to survey the craziness that they just emerged from.

The flannel sheets went on the bed yesterday! Fall is in full swing and we are loving it. It is hands down the best season. Every season is beautiful. I think all of you out there know us to be lovers of life, but fall in particular is a time to love. When else can you crank hundreds of apples through the Apple peeler corer slicer(APCS unit) for sauce, pies, apple bread and of course dehydrated apples. How about leaf peeping? What other time of the year do the forests look as though they are the target of the bright, golden morning sun, all day long. And lets not forget, the Packers, Deer Hunting, apple cider, crisp mornings and warm afternoons and leaves crunching under foot.
One of the many hats I wear this fall is that of middle school youth ministry assistant at church. Once a month we have a program called A.C.T.S. After Church To Somewhere. This past weekend the "somewhere" appropriately was chosen as the pumpkin patch and corn maze a couple of towns over. We took fourteen kids out to ride the hay wagon, pick pumpkins, and get lost in the 15 acres of
field corn. Good times were had by all. We will be switching it up next month as we head off to play some Laser Tag in the big city of Madison.
