Last weekend some long time friends of camp joined us for a most excellent snowshoe trek. It was a beautiful blue sky day. The sun was shining, the temperature finally warmed up a little bit, and there was lots of untrekked land to explore. We started off on the purple trail, headed over the creek and then criss crossed our way through the woods following some old horse trails and meandering deer trails until we made our way back down to Lake Jake where we stumbled across a few folks out trying their best to catch the alleged Walter that lives in the depths of Lake Jake. We had a great time! Thanks to our friends for getting us out on the trails!
