Good Bye Fall

The kids have come and gone, for at least a short spell. There was seldom a day in the past three months that we did not have kids on camp from somewhere around WI or beyond. This meant lots of cooking and tons of work on the part of Rebecca and her volunteers to get out and work with these kids to show them God's love in all that we have around here. They played in the leaves, hung out on the ropes course, canoed on the pond and they even took a bit of time to rid camp of what we like to call our "alien invaders." we have a few pesky invasive species that are trying to overtake camps forest land. With the help of lots of willing sixth graders, I think we may be slightly ahead in the battle but not by much.
