All in a day's play!

6:45am was the scheduled meeting time.  We were on the water by 7:20!  The morning was still and quiet, a perfect day for a paddle.  We only had to share the water with a few pair of mallards.  Sara, our program director and Dave, one of our volunteers joined me on the adventure this morning.  Thanks for a pleasant paddle gang. 

Rebecca unfortunately did not join us for the paddle but she was eager to get out and play a few holes of disc golf after the sun came up a bit higher.  After a bit of time spent chipping away at Sat. morning chores, we took some time to get out to the local Frolf course (frisbee golf).  72 degrees and a pleasant breeze coupled with fabulous colors made for a  fantastic way to spend an afternoon.  We are certainly enjoying the last few days as just us two.  There was a couple playing just behind us today with a red flyer wagon in tow.  We too will soon be totting a wagon of our own.
