"Thanks for a great day"

"Thanks for a great day." That is what Jeff has said the last two nights before heading off to bed. I was surprised to hear it yesterday as it was his first day of chemo and we spent 8 hours in medical offices and 2 hours on the road with the twins and an uncle (who is amazing). Jeff went to bed early yesterday feeling a bit tired but with no real signs of nausea - we figured it would hit today. Well it didn't hit today - Jeff is definitely tired and that is to be expected and a little weak but no nausea - hooray!

So it was a good day and thanks to you all for making that happen. We can really feel the love and support and the power of prayer. Although this week has felt long and slow as we've waited for appointments and chemo it has actually gone very smooth. Thanks for your prayers - they truly do make a difference and are being felt here at our home.
